As a child, I could regularly be found catching stray dogs, bathing and feeding them, and searching for their owners. If I didn’t have a leash, I’d use a shoelace from my own shoe. That connection with dogs has always been a part of me.
My journey with dog training began with my own dog. He’s not genetically “perfect,” and struggled with intense reactivity after being attacked multiple times. Frustrated by the lack of meaningful guidance from various forms of conventional training, I set out to learn more. After we passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test, something many said we'd never do, I stopped listening. I started asking: what else have we been told isn't possible? That was the moment I stopped accepting limits...and we've been proving people wrong ever since.
Since then, I’ve trained under accomplished mentors, studied extensively, earned certifications, and worked with a wide array of real-world cases. My approach isn't about masking issues with shortcuts — it’s about understanding the dog and bringing the best out of them.
Whether I'm working with serious aggression or building reliable off-leash obedience, I focus on helping dogs and their people realize the only limits are those that you create.
In a session. My dog that was failed by conventional techniques now helping a reactive dog through the early stages of their behavior modification.
